When Dr. Carl Boyko opened our doors in 1961, he built something truly special – a dental clinic that would earn the trust and loyalty of generations of Calgary families. In 2008, I had the honour of taking over the clinic and continuing the legacy of exceptional, personalized dental and whole-health care.

Under the name Welcome Smile Dental, my team and I have expanded our services, embraced new technologies, and continued building lasting relationships with our patients. It has been our privilege to care for you and your family’s health and wellness over the years.

Today, we are proud to continue building on that legacy.

I’m excited to share that Welcome Smile is now The Assembly Dental & Wellness.

Why the new name and branding?

The Assembly represents the ongoing legacy of care we share with our team, our patients, and our Calgary community. Every decision was guided by their feedback and one simple question: How can we make every visit meaningful for everyone who walks through our doors?

We listened carefully, then partnered with locally owned businesses to shape every aspect of new brand, from our visual identity to the language you’ll see on our walls and screens.

Has anything changed about my care?

Everything you've come to love about Welcome Smile remains the same:

We simply have a new name and look that better reflects who we are and the experience we provide.
